More than 160 people attended our 10th annual Gala Dinner Dance & Auction at Villa Barone on Mahopac on April 24. The highlight of the evening was the induction of Carol Cirieco, Corinne Procopis and Terry Reynolds into the SEF Hall of Fame for their work in the community and for helping the children of the district. Cirieco is a 25- year resident of Somers, has been president of the Somers Middle School and Somers High School PTA, has advised the Somers Leo’s Club and in active in many civic groups. Procopis is a Somers native and the president of the Somers Chamber of Commerce, a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout den mother. Reynolds is the band director at Somers Intermediate School and has taught in Somers for 21 years. Deborah Moldow, a Somers resident and representative to the United Nation’s World Peace Prayer Society, served as honorary chair for the Gala.
