This March the students of SMS and SHS participated in a compelling and inspiring program called Rachel’s Challenge. This emotionally charged school assembly impacted our students for the remainder of the school year. Even better, it motivated our children to talk about kindness and demonstrate compassion in their lives and interactions with each other. We know our children were inspired! They participated in on-going peer training, accepted Rachel’s challenges, and invited their parents, neighbors and family members to share the experience. More than 500 people attended the evening portion of this program.
