The Town of Somers Independence Day Celebration is being held on June 26, 2010 and will begin with a celebration of a loved and dearly missed town resident, Lynn Adams. Community groups and individual volunteers throughout the Town of Somers have come together, in conjunction with the Somers Lions and the Taconic Road Runners Club, to present the second annual Lynn Adams Memorial.

More than 160 people attended our 10th annual Gala Dinner Dance & Auction at Villa Barone on Mahopac on April 24. The highlight of the evening was the induction of Carol Cirieco, Corinne Procopis and Terry Reynolds into the SEF Hall of Fame for their work in the community and for helping the children of the district.
