Jack Kearney, a trustee of the Somers Education Foundation, died on July 25, 2011 after a short illness. He was 61 years old. Jack, the co-owner of a plumbing and electrical supply business, was originally from Long Island. He had resided in Somers for more than a decade and immediately became involved in the community.
